At The Hideaway, our aim is to ensure every guest enjoys a comfortable, relaxing and memorable stay. We provide as much information about the cottage, everything that it has to offer, and its accessibility, helping you to feel confident that The Hideaway is the perfect choice for your getaway.

Parking

The car parking space is located at the rear of the cottage. The parking area is gravelled and open air. There is 1 designated space. The route leading from the parking space to the entrance gate is gravelled and slightly sloped but step free. The entrance gate width is 131cm. Once across the gravel and onto the path to the gate the area is flat and step free.

Cottage Entrance

The Cottage door has a single step entry, the step height is 12cm. The door is a stable door and can be half opened at the top only or full door. The door opens out towards you.

The door width is 64cm.

Seating Area

The seating area and courtyard are level tarmac and uncovered. There is plenty of room for a wheelchair or walking frame to manouvere. The seating area includes an L shape cushioned sofa, which is 43cm from the ground. There are two low level deck chairs, a garden bench (seat height 43cm) and a small table. There is also an egg shaped swing chair.

The hot tub has two steps. The height of the first step is 20cm, the second step is another 20cm high and it's a further 40cm to the top of the hot tub. There is a hand rail to assist you.

The small egg BBQ sits on a table that is 91cm in height.

Kitchen/Lounge

You enter through the stable door straight into the open plan kitchen/lounge area. 

The kitchen has overhead cupboards 138cm height and under counter cupboards.

The hob, sink and all work surfaces are 94cm in height.

The sink has a two lever mixer tap. The kitchen is equipped with a hob, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and Nespresso coffee machine. 

There is seating in the kitchen with chairs (no arm rests) seat height 43cm and a glass kitchen table 73cm in height.​ The lounge has a two seater sofa with arm rest 43cm seat height and a lounge chair with no arm rests also 43cm seat height. The kitchen bin is a split waste and recycling bin and is foot operated - height 70cm.

Bedroom

You enter straight into the bedroom through the double glass doors in the lounge. The double bed height is 146cm. There is a small bedside table either side of the bed. The bedside lights hang from the ceiling and can be operated from the light switch situated at bed height on the right side of the bed or on the wall dimmer by the bathroom door as you enter the bedroom.

The space between the bed and wall on both sides is 40cm.
